Dr. Robert Lefever
Educated Mill Hill School, Corpus Christi College, Cambridge, and The Middlesex Hospital Medical School, London (degrees of Master of Arts, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery).
Established one of the first NHS group medical practices (in South Kensington); established one of the first private diagnostic centres in central London; established one of the first Minnesota Method addiction treatment centres in the UK.
Directed treatment for a total of 5000 in-patients over 23 years and a similar number of out-patients. Employed over 100 staff. Trained new counsellors. Established the first MSc degree course in addiction psychology in the UK.
Author of 22 books on various aspects of addictive and compulsive behaviour. Full member of The Medical Journalists Association.
Widely experienced in radio and television.
Lead speaker at conferences in the USA, UK, France, Spain, Switzerland, Holland, Hungary, Norway, Israel, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand and Nigeria.
Josh Dickson
A Graduate of Bristol University BA (Hons) Philosophy, Josh has been training with Dr Lefever since Jan 2009 (Psychodrama, NLP, EMDR, One to One, Twelve Step, Primary and Family Group). Along with his diploma in Montessori Education (Mont. Dip), he has been trained in an IICB approved model as part of his BRI-I Interventionist training and is working towards his FDAP certification.
